Aoife, Lily and Charley have been going to a coding club every Friday at lunch time. We have been recreating our own version of the game flappy-bird. Play the video below to see how the game is made. The code might seem confusing, but actually it isn’t so hard to understand. It’s telling you what to do. We have added comments to some of the code to make it easier to understand.
Making the flappy bird game was a great experience for us, it has made us more enthusiastic about coding and ICT. We hope you enjoy the video we have made, we have worked very hard on these games.
Click on the links below to play our games. To start the game you press the green flag and off you go!

Always on the ran from Saptin Crod. Running past fields, dears, birds and bugs, at Natures finest they find their luck. Time past right by, there’s always something new, sometimes smoke, rush a world of pain but every time there’s one thing in common, strangely no children are in sight (except them).
A Chance
“Annie!” screeched Rafton “If only you would come out of hiding and stop being such a nuisance, we got to leave now. My super dog like smell can sniff out Saptin’s sent, he’s on his way to get us.”
“Rafty, your scaring her, she only a youngling we were like that too. She probably hiding from you.” Dianna always gave that tone when she was angry, hard, aggressive voice no one messes with. s
“Dianna, is that you. I’m by the plant pot and I’m not hiding I’m stuck.”
“Annie, we need an explanation from you but not now we don’t really have the time, as Rafton was joking around Jumbo can sense Sabtin coming closer by the second. ”
So the three packed their valuables, Annie found a bag deep in the shacks garden, she could not make out what it was. She stuffed it in her bag, it would get in, instead she took the mysterious items out of the plastic bag, dunked it all in and came in the shack.
It was the 27th July 1857, in a foggy city full of trains, boats and new findings. The children was worried and scared. For normal rich children it would be a big deal, they would probably have a car, horse carriage or take the train. But been poor in the 1800s is tough. Fog, everywhere, children would die easy, especially the ones with asthma, the pollution all around would make them cough, until they start to choke and then they would have a slow painful death.
Rafton is a lucky child living for 11 years and having asthma is a problem, but not everywhere in the world is dangerous, like India…
These three children had a Mother and Father, they was a kind loving couple, with a vivid hope for a better life in India, sharing your hopes and dreams would get you in trouble and not obeying the rules or liking them. But these two wanted to show the world you didn’t have to be scared to show others what you think, so one day they stop a special speech by the Empress of Indian. People around them was scared but had a strong feeling of independence to show the world what they could do. After the event Maria and Jacob were arrested but soon let out the have become popular and had many followers, that was sent to prison too.

Last Wednesday, we were lucky enough to go to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. With the sun shining, we returned to school tired but happy (not to mention a little late!)
